Meet Our Chief Executive Officer

Richard Hanson

Richard Hanson has more than thirty years of experience designing, developing and supporting custom applications and software solutions for corporate clients both large and small. From writing, developing and implementing software, to developing software standards, to working closely with clients to define, plan, and deliver objectives, Richard has experienced the entire business cycle. Planning the strategy of multiple corporations, Richard understands and oversees teamwork between network specialists, cybersecurity experts, database specialists, business analysts, system architect, programming resources and help desk professionals.

Richard’s father owned a real estate business and he witnessed firsthand how hard his father worked running the business—especially during hard times. A similar challenge today is keeping up with technology and staying protected from cybercrime. With his broad background in technology, Richard helps small businesses find solutions for IT issues. JigsawTek offers full-scale IT services to small businesses that leverage Richard’s experience, the alignment with strategic partners, and help from his technical network.

Richard holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in computer information systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He began his career at Northrup Grumman with a U.S Airforce secret clearance working on the manufacturing systems programming for the B-2 bomber when it was still unknown to the general public.

When he has spare time, Richard enjoys playing guitar with fellow bandmates and attending as many live music events as possible.
